Behind the Heroes is proud to be associated with Tommy's Lounge in Huddersfield. We will be working closely with Tommy's Lounge on events and much more.
Tommy's lounge is Veteran Owned by our founder and COO. It is a safe place for Veterans to come, enjoy a brew and pull up a sandbag. Whilst Behind the Heroes doesn't have a permanent physical location, Tommy's is as close as it comes to having one, and what a special location it is.
Located just around the corner from Huddersfield Train Station, it's filled with military memorabilia donated from visiting veterans and is a welcomed break from the normal high street coffee shop chains. Serving it's own unique special blended coffee supplied by another veteran owned business it makes for a lovely brew.

A veteran who's going through a tough time can visit Tommy's and enjoy a brew and more for free.
Tommy's Lounge operates a scheme called "Buy a Tommy a Brew" where people can buy a coffee, meal deal or anything on the menu and pay-it-forwards for a veteran in need.
It's both easy to take part in the scheme and easy to use. Simply pick up a post-it from the board and hand it in at the counter.
